While I enjoy meat I certainly don’t eat that much. I’m not proud of the fact that we are up there on the meat eating stakes (steaks) because I’m sure not all of that 313.3 lbs is good quality meat.

See the post about the number of pies eaten – I find that incredible. 60 million pies per year! I’m lucky if I have one or two a month! Who is eating all the rest?

That said, I am considered a fairly large meat eater by most people I know but somebody out there must be eating huge amounts more than me in order to account for all the vegetarians and minimal meat eaters out there. I doubt whether I eat around 0.4 kg of meat a day.
