There are lots of recipes out there for steak with chocolate sauce, but until now no-one has considered making chocolate taste like meat.
As revealed in the NZ Herald today Dr Hanna Frederick has developed venison chocolate truffles to feed dozens of meat lovers at the Meat Industry Association Conference. According to the story the salami aftertaste is quite evident. The chocolates have been a hit with the men but not so popular with the women who prefer a sweeter chocolate.
Dr Frederick has also made a chocolate aphrodisiac which according to her website will “…make you a tiger in the bedroom!”
